My running comeback has slowed somewhat, as my achilles has still been giving me trouble. Still, I'm running enough to still see some solid improvement. I'm still trying to get an MRI, but fighting through issues with my HMO. The achilles hurt a lot on Monday, so I went back to the lighter of my two braces, took a lot of Motrin, and by Wednesday it felt great. Running 4 miles on it didn't feel so hot, however, especially going uphill.
Our move to Eugene is coming up quick, and things will be real busy the next couple months. Because of that, I'm not real concerned about the training going slow. Even if my achilles was perfect I probably couldn't begin serious training until late October when we got settled in.
