Craig's Running and Other Interesting Stuff

Welcome to Craig's Running!  Well, I finally moved on from GeoCities.  GeoCities is a nice option for a free website, but you pay the price instead through tons of adds.  As the adds got bigger and expanded into a variety of pop-ups, I bit the bullet and moved on to FasterRunning.com.  Both my site and FasterRunning.com are going through a rapid evolution, so expect to see a lot of changes over the next few months.  There may be some odd stuff and missing sections in the mean time, so please be patient!  Hopefully the end result will be worth it.
Craig's Personal News
I am basically in semi-retirement for now, with a killer work schedule and a new baby at home.  My training log makes this painfully obvious.
My website also fell into disrepair, but hopefully both things will start turning around soon.

Other Highlights!
The Running Calculator is now working.  It uses a race time to calculate equivalent race times for other distances, as well as recommended training paces, such as tempo pace, VO2 max, easy run pace, etc.

PERSONAL COACHING - I now offer detailed personalized coaching for a nominal fee.  Send me an email and I will forward all the details.

Craig's Racing
I dropped out at mile 19 of the LA Marathon, but did blast some impressive splits before blowing up.  I have written a race report with all the gory details.  My training plan for this race shows what I had planned to do, and my training log shows that actually happened.  The what's new with me section has additional details.

A mediocre 15:55 5K on March 30th and a 32:46 track 10K on March 15th did little to redeem myself from my DNF at the LA Marathon. Since then I took a number of months really easy, with only getting back to moderate training recently.  My 1:11 half marathon PR at the end of January is the high light of this years racing so far.  Check out the race report section for details.

NEXT RACES - The Santa Clarita Half Marathon on November 3rd.
